Our New Summerhouse

Another Autumn addition has been a gorgeous summer house (10ft x 8ft). It is perfect for inclement weather and a cosy place for younger/older/less mobile family members to spend the session whilst your dog burns off some energy with the rest of the family.

Paddock Lodge Feedback

The latest wonderful feedback from our pet-friendly holiday let, Paddock Lodge. Another person who arrived as a new guest and left as a friend.

When Marisa Reported On Crufts 2020!

Marisa had the honour once again of reporting on Crufts 2020, this time as Crufts Correspondent for The Northern Echo. Her 3 articles were published in the Echo on Crufts Friday, Crufts Saturday and also on the Monday. These articles featured North Eastern handlers from St Helen Auckland, Roker, Billingham, Shotton Colliery and Haswell who were all thrilled with the coverage, particularly as they all did so well at Crufts.

*Gino the Champion Lhasa Apso came second in his class for owners Simon Taylor and James Johnson. *The Northern Team – which included 3 handlers from the North East – won the Inter Regional Obedience competition *Rebecca Williams took home a 1st, 2 x 2nds and a 5th place with her dogs in the Young Kennel Club High Flyers and Novice Obedience competitions.

Introducing Our Dog Field

We are delighted to announce the opening of our brand-new Dog Field. The perfect area to give your dog a wonderful sense of freedom. Our Dog Field will be available for hire from 1st May to 31st October, from 10am until dusk. This space can be used for dog training purposes, exercise, interacting with other dogs or simply to give your dog a chance to play in a safe environment!

There is plenty of fun to be had for your dog at the Dog Field. We have provided logs and straw bales on the field for jumping and climbing on, along with flyball jumps which you are welcome to use. We even have 2 sturdy paddling pools which are filled with clean, fresh water at the start of each session.

The dog field is fully enclosed by 6ft panel and close board fencing, meaning your dog can run freely and in complete safety without causing you any worry. We also have two benches for seating and plan to add a summerhouse if there is sufficient demand.

There will be Skinners Salmon and Rice dog food for sale when you visit, a great food which our own dogs are fed on. They find it very palatable, have great coats and skin and good energy levels. It is hypoallergenic so no nasties to react to or mystery ingredients. For a limited period it will be available at the special price of £25 (rrp £32.50).

If you are interested in hiring our Dog Field, please use the online booking calendar to reserve your session. If you require help to book or have any queries, please call Marisa on 01388 417 54
