Important Information
1. All dogs are required to have an overnight stay with us prior to boarding in order for us to assess suitability and ensure the dogs settle with us.
2. Paws n The Paddock reserves the right to refuse dogs who are not suitable for home boarding with us due to their temperament or behaviour. This can be due to – but is not limited to – aggression, severe anxiety/separation anxiety, escape/stray tendencies, excessive noisiness, toileting or destructive behaviour.
3. If dogs display signs of such behaviour – either during their trial sessions or during a subsequent booking – they will require to be collected by their owners or their emergency contacts. Failing this, they will be relocated to boarding kennels at the owner’s expense and the booking payment made to us will be forfeit.
Please note: as other dogs will be here during your own dog’s stay, it is important that your dog is dog friendly or at least dog tolerant. Any dog who shows signs of aggression, reactivity or unwanted behaviour around other dogs during their stay will require to be collected immediately by their owners or their emergency contacts. Failing this, they will be relocated to boarding kennels at the owner’s expense and the booking payment made to us will be forfeit
4. Please Note: If dogs don’t get on with the daycare environment/group, we will give notice and it’s not something to take personally if this ever happens. Dogs are like humans and they don’t all like each other or have the same character, energy levels or tolerances. The environment could be too much for them, or they can become seriously over stimulated and find it impossible to calm down or disengage from play. Hormones can also be an issue. If that’s ever the case, we will advise you accordingly and try to suggest alternatives that may work for you.
5. Dogs showing any signs of illness will be segregated and alternative arrangements will need to be made if it is a contagious disease (eg Parvovirus, Kennel Cough etc), for the safety of our other dogs here.
6. Paws n The Paddock may use their own emergency vet if they deem necessary and must be fully reimbursed for all payments made.
7. We are situated in a semi-rural area with beautiful countryside views which are often admired and commented on by those who use our service. Due to the peaceful tranquillity of our setting, we are unable to accept dogs who bark persistently which can in turn cause stress and reactionary barking from other dogs.
8. The above rules are to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our canine guests during their stay, thank you for your understanding.
Full details of our Terms and Conditions are available upon request. New clients will receive an advance copy to read and sign before their dog’s first stay with us.
